1. Address underlying causes
Clinicians may look at diabetes, cardiovascular risk, blood pressure, hormone issues, smoking, alcohol, medication side effects and mental health. Improving the cause can improve erectile function for some men.
2. Oral ED medications
PDE5 inhibitors are a standard treatment category. Examples include sildenafil, tadalafil, vardenafil and avanafil. They improve blood flow during sexual stimulation; they do not automatically create sexual desire.
3. Vacuum erection devices
Vacuum devices draw blood into the penis and use a constriction ring to help maintain the erection. They can be useful when medications are not appropriate or not preferred.
4. Injectable or urethral medicines
These options can create an erection by acting directly on penile blood flow. Training from a health professional is important.
5. Counseling
When anxiety, depression, stress or relationship factors contribute, counseling can be part of treatment—alone or alongside medical options.
6. Surgery
Penile implants and selected vascular procedures are options for some men when other approaches do not work.
Where supplements fit
Dietary supplements are not substitutes for proven ED treatment. A product like LUV After Dark is better framed around desire, mood, sensation and couple connection—not as an ED cure.
